All attendees, speakers, press, sponsors and volunteers at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event.

We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

ESORICS welcomes attendees who foster inclusion and respect for all participants.

We aim to provide a safe, respectful, and harassment-free conference environment for everyone involved regardless of age, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, differing abilities, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, nationality, marital status, military status, veteran status, religious beliefs, medical conditions, personal characteristics, childbirth and pregnancy-related medical conditions, technology choices, dietary requirements, or any other differentiating factors. We also respect any other status and civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights protected by national and international laws.

ESORICS disapproves offensive actions, aggressive acts, or comments that intimidate or disparage others and will not tolerate any kind of harassment, including but not limited to:

  • Verbal attacks, accusations, bullying, or offensive comments
  • Aggressive or intimidating behavior
  • Sustained disruption during presentations and other events
  • Unwelcome sexual attention
  • Inappropriate physical contact
  • Deliberate intimidation or stalking, either in person or online
  • Sexual and racist images or materials in public spaces
  • Ignoring, encouraging, or advocating any of the above behaviors

Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the conference organisers.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff immediately (in person or by email: esorics2025@sciencesconf.org).

Conference staff will be happy to help participants feel safe during the event.
